A Sunny Day

I've been in a bit of a blogging slump lately. It seems like we just play and I don't take many pictures. But since yesterday was warmer than it has been, we bundled up and went outside for some fresh air. Here are a few pics from our day.

I love this picture. He looks to be contemplating the meaning of life...

Funny face..

First Hunt (Not for sensitive stomachs)

Hayden got to experience his first hunt this year. I came down with a touch of the flu right before Christmas. In order to give me some time to rest, Brian took Hayden hunting in one of the ground blinds on the farm. I think they both were pretty excited. The weather cooperated and Hayden loved it.

After the first deer was shot, they called me and that's all Hayden could talk about...the "pain train"! I was surprised that the noise from the gun didn't bother him but I think he was so excited that he didn't even notice.

Here are a few pics of him on the way to the blind and the field they hunted.

Here is one of the after:

Hunting with daddy is all Hayden could talk about for days. He was so excited and wants to go again!
Happy New Year

So we are a little late in wishing you a Happy New Year. I've had a few problems getting pictures off my camera(s) but I've fixed the issue.

We had a great time being off around the holidays. We spent Christmas Eve with Brian's family and Christmas Day with my family. Hayden seemed to understand Christmas a little more this year. He was excited to open presents and play with his new toys. I definately noticed the difference in his maturity from last year to this year. He is growing by leaps and bounds! Here are some pics from our holidays.

Christmas Eve

Christmas Day

I neglected to take pictures at my parents house. We were all to busy opening the mounds of gifts and having a good time. These pics are from our house and Hayden getting his Train Table from Santa.
